Boredom

Just a sketch I did last night. I don't think I'm going to do anything with it. Her face is cute though.

An updated Linkle. I forgot to add some shadows and then I threw on a gradient for funsies. Gradients make everything better.

Hyaaa!

Here's that Linkle from a few days ago... but now in glorious technicolor. I like her chubby little legs. And arms. And face.

A Linkle in Time

I'm on such a Zelda kick right now it's making me feel like I'm back in middle school again. I took a break from what I was working on to sketch out Linkle. I'm so happy she's going to be in the new Hyrule Warriors.

Dressing Room

Just a background for the Tri Force Heroes animation I'm working on. I played around with the outlines a lot and it took me a while to figure out what style I wanted it to be. Overall I'm pretty happy with it.

Tri Force Cuties -in color-

Just a follow up post to one I made back in September. Still a work in progress, but here are some of the little completed Links I've made. I like Cheerleader Link's little tooth.

Withered

I guess this counts as my Halloween video? The recordings for this have been sitting in a folder for the past few months. I was going to wait till I finished Freddy and Chica to make them all into one video but I figured it'd be better in parts. You can catch brief glimpses of the original Freddy I drew in the video as well as a little Chica.

I had always planned on making my Playboy Bonnie into the withered animatronic version. When I had originally sketched the character on paper she was the faceless vision of loveliness you see above. Oddly enough I feel like she ended up with the cutest face I've ever drawn.

Drawlloween #3 + 4

Day 3 - Goblin

Day 4 - Vampire

I've come to the realization that only frame of reference I have for goblins are Labyrinth and Spider-Man. I of course went with the more fabulous option of Jareth the Goblin King. So pointy. I really like the sketch for the vampire. I'm planning on cleaning it up in Illustrator some other time.

Drawlloween #2 - Devil

 Day 2 - Devil

Just a sketch today. I was going to clean it up/render it out in Illustrator but then I got lazy/got distracted by chips and salsa. Beelzeba is a character that's been rattling around in my head for a while. She's like a mix of a magical girl and the devil.

This is Drawlloween

Day 1 - Ghost

I just wanted to make something quick. Instead I took my sketch into illustrator and redid all the line work. Classic Jenn. I think I'll name this little ghoul Bella.

Tri Force Cuties

Move over, Barbie, there's a new blonde bombshell with a massive wardrobe in town! I'm loving the variety in Link's new outfits for Tri Force Warriors. Cheerleader is my favorite, but the fierceness of cat Link can't be denied. These are just a few of the Links I have sketched for an upcoming animation, the rest will remain a surprise~

Five Nights at MacArthur Park

That's it, guys. There's no way I can make anything better than this. My life has been leading up to this very moment. I'd like to thank my friend Alex for commissioning me to make this masterpiece. Chica from Five Nights at Freddy's as Manila Luzon and Delta Work as herself performing that Donna Summer Classic MacArthur Park. I can't embed the video from youtube but you can watch the actual performance here!

Lili in the Sky with Dominic

...and an Alpaca.

This was commissioned by a friend and the one thing she wanted was for it to be cute and anime. I think I succeeded. I feel like this belongs on the side of a van.

This was done with acrylic on canvas, a medium I haven't really used in a long time. I found painting to be relaxing until I realized how much I rely on the undo button in Photoshop. It took some time to get used to it.

Playboy Bonnie

Work in progress! I had to put this drawing on hold but I figured I'd better update the blog with something. Bonnie is done, I just need to make Chica and Freddy to complete the Freddy Fazbear band.

FNAF : Employees Only Backgrounds

Just the backgrounds I did for the animation. I like the stars in the hallway and the cardboard boxes of prizes in the back room. The paper plate dolls are pretty cute too.

Dat cupake.

Not a background but I did make the cupcake in the opening shot. I was going to record working on that but it was made pretty quick. The video would have been over before it started.

Five Nights at Freddy’s - Employees Only

Walter and I did a Five Nights at Freddy's animation. I made the backgrounds and the cupcake. I'll try to post the backgrounds tomorrow so y'all can get a closer look. Lunchbox Jelly is the youtube channel where we will be posting our collaborations, so please subscribe.

Jenn Draws Link

I don't know if it's because I was listening to symphonic metal while working on this, but the cute music just feels weird. I liked imagining Zelda shredding on that little harp of hers.

Jam Session

I originally did the sketch for this back when the Majora's Mask rerelease for 3DS was announced. It feels like so long ago now. I kept restarting the vector version because I wasn't happy with the way it was turning out and I ended up almost scrapping the whole thing altogether. Fast forward to earlier this month and I'm using it to teach a friend how to use Illustrator. I'm really happy with how it turned out, even if the road to get to this point took way longer than it should have. At least it was worth all the trouble?

Link and Zelda aren't really based on any specific incarnations of their characters and are more of a mixture of a couple different ones. It's more noticeable with Zelda than it is with Link since he hasn't changed much. This Zelda is one I helped Walter design for some animation tests he was doing back in the day. She doesn't have the bow I originally gave her since she isn't in casual mode.

The Scorpion Levels Up

Look! I animated a thing! This is my interpretation of how Scorpion gets his new look between episodes 1 and 2 of The Devil's Carnival. It will be my personal headcanon until proven otherwise. The audio was just a place holder until I got the evolution music but I ended up liking it more with the random loop. Who knew?

Mint Julep -complete-

Mint Julep is a nymph who is tired of humans taking the waters from her home. Her hobbies include shape shifting, drowning people and hanging out with her gal pals.

1 Year

Today marks one year of me working at Disneyland with my buddy Allie. The year went by so fast.

Mint Julep

Just some sketches of a drink in the form of a human. I was unsure if I wanted her to be more piratey or water nymph-y. Her design isn't 100% set in stone yet but I'm pretty happy with these sketches.

Sparkle Sushi Mermaid Princess

So sparkly. So shrimps.

I was originally drawing a sushi themed princess but at some point I decided to make her a mermaid. It just made sense. The flower in her hair is supposed to be pickled ginger and her hair is wasabi. That's a lot of wasabi for one piece of sushi.

Jenn Draws The Puppet

Well I ever be done posting about this drawing? No one knows.

Gift of Life 2: Electric Boogaloo

Nothing new here, just some minor fixes, color and font changes. Go on with your business.

Gift of Life

I've always wanted to make a design to submit to TeeFury and Five Nights at Freddy's seemed like an easy choice. Bonnie was more difficult than I thought he'd be and Foxy was surprisingly easy. Chica's second set of teeth is my favorite part of the whole thing.

Das Wunderkind

"Brigid Tenenbaum came drifting in after him—a very young woman, superficially pretty but with bruised-looking eyes, a shapeless bob of brown hair, a distant expression on her face."

I became obsessed with Bioshock a few months ago. I'm okay with this. I tried making her a mix of her portrait from the first game and her concept art from the second. Brigid Tenenbaum is my favorite. My spooky, socially inept favorite.

Crocodile Rock

Made for my lovely cousin, Anna. I named them Clyde, Grace, Jazz and Holloway. Grace is my favorite.
