Cleaning Up

I decided to clean out my laptop's desktop. It's like a graveyard of sketches and unfinished drawings. I didn't want to just stash them away, never to be seen again, so I figured I'd upload them here.

I started doing turnarounds of Ba but once I got to this point I didn't really like the proportions. I still like her hair though.

Harley was going to be for my youtube channel and Ivy was just a fun sketch. I never really intended to flesh her out more. Look at her little feet.

Here's the rest of the Freddy Fazbear band. I didn't like Freddy and Chica as much as I loved Bonnie.

Papa Suchong

More Bioshock sketches. This time it's Suchong. I like his face. I never realized he has a combover in his audio diary portait. Poor guy.
The only real full body image of him from the first game was from a flashback. I don't know if I'd have him in the scrubs since it's a bit much. I also didn't want to base him off of his Burial at Sea model so a basic lab coat seemed fitting. He looks like a total dad without it. Good job, me.

Here is a bonus Jack. He's a good boy.

Midna -sketch-

I liked this sketch enough to post it. That hardly ever happens. I've been playing a lot of Hyrule Warriors recently. Hyrule Warriors is my life now.

A Linkle in Time

I'm on such a Zelda kick right now it's making me feel like I'm back in middle school again. I took a break from what I was working on to sketch out Linkle. I'm so happy she's going to be in the new Hyrule Warriors.

Tri Force Cuties -in color-

Just a follow up post to one I made back in September. Still a work in progress, but here are some of the little completed Links I've made. I like Cheerleader Link's little tooth.

Tri Force Cuties

Move over, Barbie, there's a new blonde bombshell with a massive wardrobe in town! I'm loving the variety in Link's new outfits for Tri Force Warriors. Cheerleader is my favorite, but the fierceness of cat Link can't be denied. These are just a few of the Links I have sketched for an upcoming animation, the rest will remain a surprise~

Playboy Bonnie

Work in progress! I had to put this drawing on hold but I figured I'd better update the blog with something. Bonnie is done, I just need to make Chica and Freddy to complete the Freddy Fazbear band.

Mint Julep

Just some sketches of a drink in the form of a human. I was unsure if I wanted her to be more piratey or water nymph-y. Her design isn't 100% set in stone yet but I'm pretty happy with these sketches.

Scorpion used Charm!

It's super effective!

I don't put up a lot of WIPs, so here you go. It was supposed to be more flat, but I couldn't resist adding shading. I want to poke is little face. His little, stupid face.

A sketch before bedtime

My buddy Walter bought some art books this weekend at Comic Con and it made me want to draw pretty ladies. Obviously the best thing to do is to wait until it's time for you to go to sleep to actually start sketching. This is the point I'm going to leave it at before bed. It will give me something to look forward to working on tomorrow night.
What is it about having to go to sleep that makes me want to draw Poison Ivy?

Grab Bag of Stuff...I guess?

I haven't updated since last month, even though I have been working on stuff. I guess now is a good time to finally post whatever it is I worked on. First up are some album covers I did for a friend.

Sometime before Christmas, my friend Tyler asked if I could make some cover art for an album he had just completed. The album was called Katzenklavier, after the musical instrument, so I went off of that while coming up with ideas. I had sketched up about 5 or 6 different thumbnails and the one above is the one that Tyler liked that most. It was done in Illustrator. I thought I had a link to the album, but I can't seem to find it right now...

*EDIT*
It's been a month but I now have a link! Get some sweet tunes here.

...However I do have the link for this album! Tyler also asked me to make cover art for a separate musical project of his. The catch was that I only had an hour to complete it. I prefer this one to the Katzenklavier art, because it's way simpler. This was also done in Illustrator.

During my final week of Fall quarter at school, I became obsessed with the show Misfits. That obsession carried on through the winter break and I started drawing one of my favorite characters, Simon. Sadly I lost interest in the piece after an hour...

These are from my Preproduction/Production Team classes. There was a cave scene that was cut out from the final story, so hooray for unused stuff!

The girl is still being used, just not the costume. I based her outfit off of Sean Connery's character in Indiana Jones and Jane's dad from Tarzan. Yup, nothing says "cute little girl clothes" like old man wardrobe!

OH NO! BATS!
