I wanted to try to do something with really soft shading. I like how it turned out. Her face is my favorite part. Also the roses are neat?

Cleaning Up

 

I decided to clean out my laptop's desktop. It's like a graveyard of sketches and unfinished drawings. I didn't want to just stash them away, never to be seen again, so I figured I'd upload them here.

I started doing turnarounds of Ba but once I got to this point I didn't really like the proportions. I still like her hair though. 

Harley was going to be for my youtube channel and Ivy was just a fun sketch. I never really intended to flesh her out more. Look at her little feet.

Here's the rest of the Freddy Fazbear band. I didn't like Freddy and Chica as much as I loved Bonnie. 

Hazy

Happy 2017, everyone! My resolution this year is to stop being a loser and draw more. I managed to draw more last year than I had before but it was still a pretty pathetic amount of drawings.

Papa Suchong

More Bioshock sketches. This time it's Suchong. I like his face. I never realized he has a combover in his audio diary portait. Poor guy.

The only real full body image of him from the first game was from a flashback. I don't know if I'd have him in the scrubs since it's a bit much. I also didn't want to base him off of his Burial at Sea model so a basic lab coat seemed fitting. He looks like a total dad without it. Good job, me.

Here is a bonus Jack. He's a good boy. 

Jack of all Trades

Aaaaand I'm back to being super into Bioshock again. Thanks a lot, remastered version. Walter and I had planned on doing a Bioshock video for our channel a long time ago but we just kept putting it off. I guess since the series is relevant again, now is as good as time as ever. 

The one on the right's hair is based on fanart versions of Jack that I've seen on Tumblr since Jack's hair is never like that. I also gave him really big eyebrows because those are fun. I might make him a little thicker since Jack is a pretty big guy.

His sweater will most likely not have all the detail in the final version but it was fun to add just for the concept version. I like his little arms and feet.

Eye See You

I don't know why I like the idea of Boo's true form having  a lot of eyes. It's really not necessary. Whatever.  Boo is hard for me to draw because I can never figure out what to have her wear. The only part of her design I'm ever happy with is her hair. Someday she'll have an official outfit like Ba does.

Nightmare Girl

...I just really wanted to draw gloved hands. Everything else was just kind of extra. Her hair was a pain since her hair isn't even really hair? It's smoke? 

A sketch I like enough to post here but not enough to fix up. Ba's face is cute. I like Ba. I should probably draw Boo more often. 

Whole

Just a sketch. I was inspired by a picture of a cool looking goat. I tried to make her even parts Boo and Ba since it's them put together. I'll figure out her colors eventually.

Joy

I got commissioned to make a bookmark of Inside Out's Joy. She came out pretty cute. I used a combination of Illustrator and Photoshop because I hate Illustrator's glow effects. I hate them so much.

Ba and Boo

Just some sketches I did while taking a break from a small project I'm working on. Beelzeba has been on the blog before, but her sister Beelzeboo has not. The left drawings are their prettier forms they use to try to lure humans and the right is a little closer to what they really look like. I guess more like the mid point? Yeah. Like the weird monstrosities you see on the covers of Animorphs.

New Poison Ivy drawing for the year. Did I even draw her last year? I don't think I did, but let's pretend it's an annual thing. I'm sure there were two Poison Ivys in one year to make this even out. 

Two Midnas

It's almost like I'll die if I don't post something Zelda related. Twili Midna is my main character in Hyrule Warriors. She is the best. Speed painting should be up within the next few days.

I liked this sketch enough to post it. That hardly ever happens. I've been playing a lot of Hyrule Warriors recently. Hyrule Warriors is my life now. 

Giant Woman

I started this drawing in December. Then I got food poisoning and lost all motivation to even open the file. I really liked the sketch and didn't want it to end up with all the other unfinished files I have cluttering my desktop.

This is what it originally looked like before I decided to completely start from scratch. I still like it but I wasn't really feeling it, you know?

Smoke

I wanted to do my own stereotypical anime head tilt drawing so I made one. See, kids, dreams do come true. 

Sleepy

I couldn't really work on my current project today so I drew my friend's character for their youtube channel. She's small and kicks butts. All the butts.

Summon

More sparkle magic girl princess from Hell- now with more frustration and gaussian blur. I've been working on this on and off while also working on other projects. Photoshop is fun, but I miss my beloved Illustrator. 

Boredom

Just a sketch I did last night. I don't think I'm going to do anything with it. Her face is cute though.
